Description: 
Hand selected and hand whipped real velvety peacock feathers enrobing a sage green pheasant feather whipped into earrings. Finished with varnished black whipping thread. Attached to a reformed stainless steel, hypoallergenic hooks or you can select sterling silver when adding to the cart.
 
The feathers are sourced from pest control operations in the North Island, NZ and a former fly tyer.
 
Please note: the images above may not be the exact earrings you receive. Unless I have a pair of these already made, these earrings are made to order. Be aware that all feathers have slight natural variations in shade, pattern and size and I will make a very similar pair to those pictured but there may be a slight natural distinctions. Rest assured I will select the best feathers for the task and ensure you receive an excellent representation of this style. None of our feathers are dyed or painted!

These earrings will arrive in a matt black cardboard presentation box stamped with The Feather Craftsman logo and the item will be attached to a black foam insert. This is perfect for safe storage and protection of your hand crafted feather earrings.

Care Instructions:
With care my handcrafted feather creations should be durable and give you much enjoyment. Feathers are naturally wind and water resistant. However, if they do get wet set them aside to dry naturally and gently realign the feathers, if necessary, between your clean thumb and forefinger in the direction of the feathers barbs (i.e. go with the grain and not against it).
 
Store them in their box between uses to protect from the sun, humidity and organic pests.
